Privacy Policy
This page describes what actually happens on veldrai.com today, in plain language. It will be updated if and when that changes, for example once analytics is connected.
What is collected today
The only personal information collected is an email address, and only if you choose to submit one to the newsletter signup. It is not stored on this site: it is passed to Kit, the email provider (see Newsletter, below). There are no user accounts, no database, and no analytics or tracking scripts are loaded.
Free calculators
Every calculator on this site (for example, the Debt Payoff Calculator) runs entirely in your browser. Numbers you enter are never sent to a server, never logged, and never stored beyond your current browser session.
Newsletter
The newsletter signup uses Kit (formerly ConvertKit) as its email provider. When you submit the form, your email address is sent to Kit so it can email you a confirmation link, along with your IP address, which Kit uses to screen automated signups. Nothing is stored on veldrai.com itself.
Signup is double opt-in: you are not subscribed until you click the confirmation link in that email. If you never click it, you are never added to the list. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing takes effect immediately. Kit processes this data as the email provider, under Kit's own privacy policy.
Contact form
The contact form is not connected to any backend or email provider. Submitting it does not send or save your information anywhere. This will change once a real provider is in place, and this policy will be updated first.
Cookies and local storage
This site does not currently set tracking cookies or use browser storage to identify you across visits.

Product links on this site lead to Etsy listings. Once you leave veldrai.com, Etsy's own privacy policy applies to whatever you do there. VELDRAI does not control or receive data from that.
Changes to this policy
If VELDRAI adds analytics, a working contact backend, or accounts, this page will be updated to describe exactly what's collected and why before that feature goes live.
