Cookie Policy
This policy uses “cookies” as a convenient general term for cookies, local storage, pixels, scripts, device identifiers, and similar technologies that store information on a device or access information already stored there. VELDRAI currently uses local storage rather than traditional first-party cookies for the preferences listed below.

Categories
- Necessary: keeps privacy choices and technology required to provide a requested or secure site function. Necessary is always enabled.
- Functional: reserved for optional features that may need separate permission. No consent-managed Functional service is active today, so this category is not shown in the preference dialog. The current theme preference is written only when you directly ask the theme control to remember a choice and works independently.
- Analytics: would measure site use and performance. No analytics service is active today, so this category is not shown in the preference dialog.
- Marketing: currently enables the Kit newsletter service, including its script, technical requests, form-view activity, and local storage.
Your controls
On a first visit, optional categories are off. You can Accept all, Reject non-essential, or Manage preferences. Cookie Settings remains available in the footer so you can change your choices later. There is no geolocation-based variation in these controls.
Before Marketing consent, VELDRAI does not load Kit, activate the Kit form endpoint, create Kit identifiers, send a form-view request, or make another request to Kit. If you try to join the newsletter while it is blocked, VELDRAI explains the connection and asks you to enable it explicitly.
Withdrawing Marketing consent blocks Kit on future page loads and clears the known Kit keys listed above. If Kit is already running, the page reloads so its script is no longer active. This does not delete information Kit already processed and does not unsubscribe you from newsletter email. Use an email's unsubscribe link for that.
Kit requests after consent
Once Marketing consent is granted, Kit may receive technical request information such as your IP address, browser and device information, the current page, host, referrer, URL query information, and form-view information. If you submit the newsletter form, Kit also receives the email address and signup information needed to handle the request. See Kit's Privacy Policy and Data Processing Addendum.
Browser caching is different
Browsers and content-delivery systems may cache public HTML, styles, scripts, fonts, and images so the site loads efficiently. Caching copies a requested resource for delivery or performance. It is not the same as a preference record or a marketing identifier, although browser controls may group both under “site data.”
Consent version
The current consent version is 1. Copy edits and routine deployments do not change that version. If an optional technology is added, its purpose materially changes, or existing consent is no longer specific enough, VELDRAI should increase the version and ask again.
